This sweet treat is nutrient dense and comforting. Loaded with essential fatty acids, B1, protein, magnesium, selenium, and fiber.
MAKES ABOUT 4 BARS
½ cup cashews
½ cup Brazil nuts (soaked overnight or for a couple of hours)
1⅓ cups macademia nuts (soaked and dried)
3 tablespoons hemps seeds
5 to 6 dates (medjool, pitted)
2 tablespoons pastured organic ghee or coconut oil
½ teaspoon Ashitaba powder
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch each of Himalayan salt, nutmeg, cardamom
1. Place the nuts and hemp seeds in a food processor and crush until the mix resembles flour.
2. Add the dates, ghee or coconut oil, Ashitaba, salt, and spices, and process until the mixture comes together like dough.
3. Wrap up the dough in parchment paper and shape it into a large bar.
4. Keep the bar in the fridge and slice as desired.
